This Ice Cube Method Can Cleanse You, Body and Soul

We all want to live longer. But we also want to look and feel young while we do it. To achieve this, we, of course, must eat right, stay active and keep our minds sharp. However, it turns out that placing an ice cube at the back of our neck for a couple of minutes can also help. This point (as seen in the image) located close to the hairline, is called the "Feng Fu".

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), if you hold an ice cube to this spot, you'll awaken your body's balancing force, discovering also an increase in joy and energy levels. To learn the advantages of this method and how to apply it, keep reading:

Lie on your stomach and put an ice cube on the Feng Fu pressure point. Leave it there for 20 minutes (you may need a towel to keep it in place). Do this on an empty stomach, regularly, with 2 to 3 day breaks in between, in the morning and at night before going to bed. Within a few days you should feel:

• An elevation in your mood
• Relief from headaches
• Better breathing
• An improved quality of sleep
• Improved digestion
• Relief from cold symptoms
• Relief from tooth pain
• More energy and alertness
• Fight problems in the parathyroid gland.

It may feel a little cold and uncomfortable at first, but after 30 seconds you'll start to feel heat. The first few days will give you a euphoric and happy feeling as endorphins are released into your system.

How the Feng Fu Point Works

According to Chinese medicine, the Feng Fu point is not a healing pressure point. In fact, it's a pressure point that returns the body to its natural physiological state. So, external factors that influence your health and your bodily processes may be neutralized by treating this point.

Modern medicine explains these effects by pointing out that the Feng Fu point is very close to our brain stem, and that is why it is not recommended for:

• Pregnant women
• People with Schizophrenia
• People with pacemakers

Try it out for yourselves when you're suffering from pain, feeling tired, or feeling out of sorts and out of balance within your body.
