Knitting, crochet, lace making, and all the other string-based craft work that humankind seem to have always made good use of appear to be dying out now. This would be a calamity, in our opinion, because the benefits of knitting are not only felt by those who receive the knitwear. There are, in fact, many excellent reasons why knitting is great for your health.
