The one and only car ever made by the DeLorean Motor Company, the DMC-12 is simply known as The DeLorean. While it was really a rather bad and unreliable sports car, no one can argue that it looked just amazing. With its gull-wing doors and a fiberglass "underbody", there is no wonder this car become the icon of the "Back to the Future" film trilogy.

Aston Martin will always be the definitive "Bond Car", due to its many appearances in the famous 007 film series. While it's true that he has driven some other cars over the years, this car brand and this particular model will always have a place in my car-loving heart.

The British icon from the 1960s, the Mini, was actually an award-winning rally car despite its small appearance. Over the years, it has been the star of many car chases in films and TV shows, that wanted a small car that performs like the big boys.

No iconic car list would be completed without it… This 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car gained immortality when it was used in the 1960s live action Batman TV show with Adam West and Burt Ward.
8. Rolls Royce Phantom
Since 1925 and until today, few cars have more class and style than the Phantom. It is made in the United Kingdom and many consider it the most perfect saloon car in the whole world.

The Concorde of the motor world, the Veyron is the meeting point for the most incredible numbers and design features any car lover can dream of. If you have never heard of this car before, then you have missed out on one of the best cars ever made.

It's hard to say which Ferrari is the best looking one but the F50 is a true thing of beauty if you ask me. Only 349 were made, and yet millions of them decorated the bedrooms of little boys all over the world.

My personal favorite. First released in 1992, it immediately gained popularity for its stunning and aggressive look.

The iconic flagship of the German sports car manufacturer, the 911 has been in production since 1963, and yet it always kept its unique beauty and design.
13. Thrust SSC
Part car, part jet. This car is the official holder of the land speed record, set on October 15th, 1997. It achieved a speed of 1,228 km/h (763 mph) and became the first car to officially break the sound barrier.
14. Maybach Exelero
One of the most expensive cars in the world, this stunning combination of speed and luxury costs over $8 million.
