When I look at Jason de Graaf's stunning work, there's absolutely nothing that will convince me that they are not photographs. But indeed, this artist's prowess is so refined, that he is able to make anything created with his own hands look as though it's popping out of the canvas. Although his paintings may look incredibly realistic, De Graaf says that they are not always the perfect reproduction of what he sees - he likes to include a certain depth that may not be seen in photographs. Does this suggest his paintings are even better than real life? We'll leave it up to you to decide!
