The city of Echternach lies right on the edge of the Luxembourg-Germany border, in the eastern part of the country. The Echternach Music Festival is held there every May and June, dating back to 1975. The festival features jazz, medieval-themed music, and classical music.

Clervaux Castle hosts The Family of Man exhibit, which is a large photographic collection curated by Edward Steichen. The castle also features a German 88 anti-aircraft/anti-tank artillery piece on display, from World War II. History buffs will certainly admire the Clervaux Castle.
