1/2 lb sliced oven roasted turkey breast
8 slices sourdough bread, 1/2 inch thick
1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup chopped drained roasted red bell peppers (from 7-oz jar)
8 large spinach leaves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

Filling

2 cups cubed cooked turkey
3 tablespoons of flour
2 cups chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
2 1/2 cups baby-cut carrots (12 oz)
2 cups cut-up fresh broccoli

1/2 cup chopped onion (1 medium)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried sage leaves
 
Biscuits

4 slices bacon
1 cup pancake mix
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz)
1/2 cup milk

How To Prepare It:
  • Heat the oven to 400°F. Heat 1 cup of water to boiling in a 2-quart saucepan. Add carrots and broccoli, and cook for around 4 minutes or until carrots and broccoli are crisp-tender, then drain.
  • Melt butter over medium heat in a 3-quart saucepan. Cook about 2 minutes and add the onions. Stir the saucepan occasionally, until tender. Beat in flour with wire whisk, and slowly beat in the chicken broth, and sage. Reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook for another 5 minutes. Gradually stir until sauce thickens. Stir the turkey, carrots, and broccoli into the sauce, before adding the turkey mixture into ungreased 2-quart casserole.

1 cup shredded cooked turkey
2 cups prepared stuffing
1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza crust
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
3/4 cup jellied cranberry sauce (from 16-oz can)
1/2 cup turkey gravy

How To Prepare It:
  • Heat the oven to 425°F, and spray the pan with cooking spray. Unroll the pizza dough in pan, starting at center, press the dough out to the edges of pan. Bake for around 7 to 9 minutes, or until light golden brown texture.

Ingredients:

Carcass from cooked 10- to 12-lb turkey
3 cups cut-up cooked turkey
3 quarts (12 cups) water
3 medium carrots, sliced (1 1/2 cups)
2 medium stalks celery, sliced (1 cup)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup uncooked pearl barley
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning or dried sage leaves
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, if desired
1 dried bay leaf
 
How To Prepare It:
  • Mash up the turkey carcass to fit into a 6-quart Dutch oven, then add water, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and bay leaf to the carcass. Heat the carcass to boiling over high heat, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 1 hour 30 minutes time.
  • Remove any residue that has risen to the surface. Remove bones, meat and bay leaf from broth, then cool. When cool enough to handle, remove meat from bones and cut into tiny pieces. Throw away all bones and the bay leaf.
  • Skim fat from broth, and discard. Add turkey meat that has been cut from the bones to the broth. Heat to boiling, and stir in barley. Reduce the heat to low, and Cover. Allow the turkey to simmer for 30 minutes, while occasionally stirring.
  • Stir in carrots, onion, celery and 3 cups cooked turkey. Simmer uncovered 20 to 25 minutes longer, until vegetables and barley are tender, then stir in parsley. Your soup is now ready!

2 containers (10 oz each) refrigerated reduced-fat Alfredo pasta sauce
1/2 lb uncooked spaghetti, broken into thirds

1 bell pepper, chopped

2 1/4 cups pancake mix
1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)

2 medium stalks celery, sliced (1 cup)
3/4 cup milk

  • Heat oven to 425°F. Mix the mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of pancake mix into a medium-sized bowl until well blended. Stir the mix inside the turkey, cheese, celery, bell pepper and onions.
