What Does a Violin Have to Do With Brain Surgery?

Roger Frisch has made music his life's work. He is a violinist, and has been diagnosed with essential tremors that made his hand move uncontrollably. To a violinist, that is career-ending news. However, the doctors did agree that deep brain stimulation would perhaps be able to counteract the tremors.
