In Africa, the Shadows Have Their Own Natural Beauty.

At age 12, Mario Moreno's family left South Africe, but the sights of his childhood landscapes stayed with him, and when he grew up, he decided to go back to his country and become a nature photographer.

In this series, Moreno captures the wild life of Africa in an unsual way, as silhouettes against the sun. While most nature photographer try to get as many details of the animal they possible can, Moreno goes for the holistic feeling of the animal, the atmosphere it's outline gives, and the result is both emotional and beautiful.
